We are looking for a someone to organically grow our Social Media presence.
This is a dynamic position that will involve working with a small business that has become one of the biggest household names for Real Estate in Newfoundland.
We need to someone who will not only do all the regular posting type activities but also take our social media game to the next level.
There will be direction coming from us to be sure, but we also need an individual who is not afraid to give their own input.
Duties will include:
Just to clarify the major platforms we need help in are Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We will start with Facebook and then move into Instagram and Twitter after a facebook routine has been established. But you must be experienced with all three. After this is done we will be moving to grow a youtube channel.
Daily posts, whether this is done manually or with hootsuite (or a similar tool) that is your call. But it needs to be done daily and on a (fairly) regular schedule. We will be providing pictures, and videos, but as explained above we are also looking for direction on the styles and material of what is being posted.
Just to give some examples from above, we do birthday post in the morning, a weekly video giving the real estate forecast that we share among many groups across facebook, daily images of the ‘inner workings’ of the office and of course regular post showcasing homes we have for sale. Just to name a few.
Regular engagement with users on our pages. This is a HUGE point, we want to be seen as always active and answering questions on our pages. This includes responding to client comments, liking their posts, commenting on reviews etc. This too has to be done daily.
At least a basic understanding of graphics and image editing… whether that’s photoshop or Canva or whatever is up to you, but we need someone who can make quick alterations to pictures and has a basic understanding of what ‘looks good’ posted.
Must be able to work flexible hours, this is not a traditional 9 to 5, we are a dynamic team doing more business with a one woman show than most real estate firms do with dozens of agents. You wont be chained to your computer or phone all night or anything, but do expect some irregular hours
